Nadine and Lisa represented the petitioner in In re: Estate of Marie G. Dow. Nadine co-wrote the brief with Lisa Bellanti in the matter, while Lisa Bellanti presented the oral argument.

The article discusses the New Hampshire Supreme Court's decision concerning a choice of law provision and a pretermitted claim and the court's treatment of applicable New Hampshire law.  The case is cited as In Re Dow, 174 NH 37, 260 A.3d 1 (N.H. 2021). Read the full article here.

This article examines the New Hampshire Supreme Court’s decision in In Re the Omega Trust and the circumstances under which communications between a trust grantor and the grantor's attorney may constitute evidence of an attempted trust amendment under the New Hampshire trust code. The article addresses an important issue for New Hampshire trust practitioners; whether an expression of intent to amend a trust, including communications by e-mail, can have legal significance even when the trust amendment does not follow the traditional formalities practitioners might expect. In In re Estate of Marie G Dow, Nadine represented the petitioner before the New Hampshire Supreme Court she prepared the written brief with Lisa Bellanti, and attorney Lisa Bellanti presented the oral argument.

Nadine's subsequently co-authored the New Hampshire barn news article analyzing the New Hampshire supreme court's decision. This matter represents an important part of Nadine's experience in New Hampshire trust and estate law and in legal writing.

New Hampshire Practice: Probate Law and Practice

Nadine also assisted Attorneys Charles A. DeGrandpre and William V.A. Zorn with updating and editing Volumes 10 and 11 of the New Hampshire Practice concerning probate law, administration of estates, trusts, postnuptial agreements and guardianships.

This work provided her with additional experience researching and analyzing New Hampshire statutes, case law, and legal procedures involving trust and estates.
